Jodie and Donovan Williams are proud to announce the arrival of their daughter

Amellia Meadow Eileen Williams

20 inches long

To say that Amellia is beautiful is an understatement... she is striking! Jodie's water broke while she was at home in bed, waking her up at 2.30 am on the 19th. She went into the hospital at 5am with no contractions. She did LOTS of walking which actually increased the contractions, but after 15+ hours Jodie's cervix did not cooperate, leaving her at a measly 1cm:/ The doctors felt that since her water broke so long ago and there was no sign of dilation, C-Section was imminent. Jodie was a trooper and in-spite of her needle/injection phobia (phobia is a understatement!), she had a spinal injection and had the c-section.

Amellia came out screaming, but hasn't cried since:) The word 'Love' doesn't seem fair in describing how we feel about Amellia... she is divine:)
